Job Description: Finance Manager

Function: Invoicing

Responsibilities

• You own the invoicing process
• Liaise with project managers to retrieve all necessary data for functions that you cover

Tasks

• Collect and check invoicing items
• Write and check invoices on a monthly basis
• Send out invoices and handle all incoming requests
• Monitor incoming payments

Goals and Objectives

• Make sure we invoice everything we should
• Make sure we keep payment times below 45 days
• Keep invoice iteration to a minimum

Function: Controlling

Responsibilities

• You contribute and run the controlling process
• Liaise with project managers to retrieve all necessary data for functions that you cover

Tasks

• Audit invoices using project data
• Aggregate project data and prepare profitability reports
• Control and oversee all creditors
  • Control invoices for accuracy
  • Control license costs and make sure we are at scale

Goals and Objectives

• Make sure we don’t overpay anything and are operating at scale
• Provide management with the means to understand the financial performance of Blueshoe

Function: Forecasting

Responsibilities

• You contribute and run the controlling process
• Liaise with project managers to retrieve all necessary data for functions that you cover Tasks
• Collecting potential turnover per account/project
• Turnover projection on a monthly basis
• Accommodating potential capacity
• Provide regular forecasting

Goals and Objectives

• Timely monthly provision of the forecasting report
• Achieve high (90%+) forecasting accuracy
• Achieve high forecasting exactness for 3+ months
